What is the totality of a single event or experience?.
I am fascinated by the element of time, looking at a singular moment and seeing how it adds to a larger experience. My work questions those moments and uses fragments, pieces, and combinations of materials to bring together compositions that are seemingly abstract but based heavily in reality and personal experiences. My works are less about personal nostalgia and more about the inter-connectiveness we all share with each other living in a global society, a.k.a- the individual vs. the collective. It is my attempt to reflect on my own narrative while also conveying a broader meaning of how all the happenings around us are woven into a larger tapestry of life.
